Blight: Survival

A bloody, gritty and fantastically thrilling 4-player co-op, set in an alternative 14th century. You battle against men and monsters in a desperate attempt to reach and destroy the source of the Blight.

What an honor to be working alongside pro-animators Mads & Ulrik from Haenir Studio on their first release. Together with epic composer Jose Pavli, we will be crafting the music as well as the music design for Blight. As an ardent fan of medieval history, swordsmanship and instruments, I cannot wait to create the sonic world that this game deserves.

Trailmakers: Airborne

It was a pleasure to write the music for the upcoming DLC for Trailmakers: Airborne, the popular vehicle-building open-world game. Several new areas are introduced, as well as new combat mechanics and enemies, so there was a need for a great variety in the exploration music, with a broad palette of instruments, centered around electric guitars, pan drums and flutes.

And it always puts a big smile on my face when I get to be part of the music implementation, especially within Wwise. The audio team, Jeppe and Carl, did a fantastic job at making a system that is both seamlessly responsive, but also with great variety and randomization of the exploration music, which you always need in an open-world game.

Here you can hear some of the in-game music, specifically the main combat theme (for which I had a lot of fun recording some electric guitar) and an exploration theme for one of my favorite maps with a desert/cowboy vibe.

Deaduction

How naughty will you be as a poltergeist? I’m so looking forward to experiencing Deaduction by UK-based studio Roadkill Games., a social deduction multiplayer game where you play as one of the staff at an abandoned hotel, with an imposter spirit on the loose…

I’ve been working on the music and the sound effects for a creepy, yet playful audio aesthetic.

Shibainu -
VR Katana Simulator

I’m very excited to collaborate with Hound Games for their first VR game, where you get to put your swordsman skills to the test in the elegant and deadly art of Tameshigiri, performing perfect cuts through rolled-up tatami.

I worked closely with Hernan, the Game Director, to create the music and stingers for the tatami waves, in a hybrid japanese-orchestral style. I’m currently working on implementation for the different intensities of each track, using Wwise.

All Hands on Deck!

I had the awesome opportunity to collaborate with Adam & Kalon of Flat Thumb Interactive for their 3D deckbuilder, writing original music for the main theme, battle, boss and market tracks - all in an upbeat, pirate jig style combined with intense orchestral elements.

Two of the tracks that define the adventurous nature of AHOD: the main theme and the menu theme, featuring two of the characteristic instruments of the game: the nyckelharpa and the flute (from the irish flute to the bansuri).

Stargrad

Have you ever had the joy of playing Magicka? If yes, then you know you’re going to love Stargrad, a four player co-op RPG set in an enchanted medieval world, where you can create unique & chaotic combinations of spells, explore the cities of old and the deep mines in the mountains.

I work alongside the unstoppable duo of Rob & Adam and my role is setting up the sound implementation for the game using Wwise, Unreal 5 and Metasounds, while also creating a rich soundscape, recording original sound effects and designing the music system together with the composer.

Other Projects

  • Goblins: Battleslain

    Goblins is an idle RPG inspired by nordic mythology made by solo developer Tore Rex. It was fantastic working closely with Tore to create the map music (where the player would spend a lot of time crafting and upgrading gear) and also the battle music. The game was released on Android and later sold to a publisher.

  • Dead Monarchy

    Dead Monarchy is an open world, turn-based tactical RPG created by the talented solo development Kevin Zhang. The game is still in development and early access and has earned great responses already. My music is used in parts of the game.

  • 200 Song Project

    For this big upcoming music pack I’m helping a big team of composers make their tracks suitable for middleware (mainly Wwise and Fmod). I am also creating a Unity demo to showcase the music interactivity. The pack will be released in all major asset stores from 2022.

  • Adaptive Music Using Wwise

    I made this video to show you how incredibly smooth Wwise can be when transitioning from one game state to another - and how music can be directly affected by real-time changes in game parameters (number of enemies in this case). Music and implementation techniques are inspired by Ghost of Thushima.

  • Medieval Music Pack

    My free 5-star music pack has been downloaded by more than 1000 Unity developers. I love games set in medieval settings as much as I love writing with all the quirky and lively medieval instruments - so it gives me joy to help out all the medieval devs out there.

  • Mini Game using Unity and Wwise

    This is a personal project in development: a 2D tactical mini-game combining my Wwise and Unity skills. The game’s purpose is to showcase interactive music in real-time, where the player positions his troops wisely on a war map before starting the siege.
